Membership Established in 1964, VFFA is a non-profit membership organization, under 501 (C) (3) of the IRS code. We are incorporated for your protection. We aim to support, coordinate, develop, promote and implement the volunteer fire departments throughout Arizona. In order to accomplish this VFFA has an Executive Board and Membership made up strictly of volunteers. All of the members of the Executive Board are either current or retired members of fire departments throughout the state. Becoming a member of VFFA enables you to help in the support, coordination, development, promotion and implementation of the volunteer fire departments throughout Arizona.
